Self-Propelled Vehicle
Teamwork | Laser-Cutting | 3D Printing | Data Collection & Analysis
This was a group project involving four other team members. Given complete creative freedom, we decided to harness potential energy using a mousetrap connected to a dowel. When released, the dowel pulls a string wrapped around the rear axle, driving the vehicle forward. All custom parts were created using a laser engraver and a 3D printer. Our results for time, distance, speed, velocity, and acceleration are provided below.

3D Printed Puzzle Cube
CAD | 3D Printing | Technical Drawings
I designed and 3D printed a puzzle cube, followed by an analysis of the time it took participants to solve it. Of the 15 participants, none were able to solve the puzzle in less than 5 minutes. This experience was instrumental in learning CAD through Autodesk Inventor, as I developed technical drawings, elemental designs, and utilized ABS plastic for 3D printing.

Laminated Wood Picture Frame
I began this project by modeling the individual wood pieces to precise dimensions in Autodesk Inventor, ensuring proper fit and alignment. After assembling the digital model, I cut the wood pieces to size and laminated them together to form the frame. To secure the glass, I incorporated step joints along the inner edges, providing both stability and a clean finish. This project refined my skills in 3D modeling, woodworking, and assembly, merging technical design with hands-on craftsmanship.
